Residence Life Staff

A number of Chadron State personnel are available to help create a positive residence life experience. These personnel are comprised of full-time professional staff members, as well as student staff located in each floor or wing of the residence halls. Students are invited to visit with any staff regarding questions about campus.

Director

The Director of Housing and Residence Life is responsible for the coordination and delivery of a high-quality housing program for on-campus resident students. The Housing Office is located on the first floor of Crites Hall.

Associate Directors

The Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life is responsible for the overall development of programs for students in the residence halls as well as the supervision and training of the Resident Directors and Resident Advisors.  The Residence Life Office is located in The Hub.

Assistant Directors

Each residence hall has a director with the title of Assistant Director of Residence Life (AD). The AD lives in the residence hall and is responsible for its total operation. The AD assists with training and supervision of staff, helps coordinate programs with the Resident Advisors, and maintains the rules and regulations of the residence halls.

Senior RA's & RA's

The Resident Advisor (RA) is the heart of our residence life program. RAs are returning students who live in the residence halls and help acquaint the new students to campus. They help sponsor programs designed to inform fellow students about life on campus, in Chadron and the surrounding area. Answering questions and helping students are some of the many duties performed by this outstanding group of students.
